Currently, as a Suppression Systems Designer and Coordinator, Jim is responsible for the design and coordination of the sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump and related fire suppression and extinguishing systems. Jim also provides coordination and consulting services to other team members, owners and user groups regarding coordination with procedural impact upon suppression system designs. With more than 20 years experience in the design of fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, historical and educational facilities, Jim has unique skills in problematic system design. He has been a fire suppression designer and consultant with Systems Approach for 25 years. Current responsibilities as a lead Systems Designer include consulting, system design and management of fire protection projects.
